FPCA schedules PCI Level III course in Orlando

In conjunction with the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI), the Florida Prestressed Concrete Association (FPCA) has added a third offering of PCIÕs acclaimed Level III Quality Control and Assurance School in Florida.  Scheduled for August 18-21, 2008 in Orlando, Florida, the Level III course will offer a rare, local opportunity for members and non-members alike to obtain PCI Level III certification.

The precast/prestressed concrete industry depends on a high level of quality in the concrete products and structures it produces. PCIÕs Plant Quality Personnel Certification Program is designed to provide classroom instruction to help train and certify individuals who plan a career in the Precast/Prestressed industry. PCIÕs Level III Quality Control and Assurance School continues the series of exciting Personnel Certification Programs. All pf the schools and certifications programs are open to everyone in the precast/prestressed products industry, however, the Level III program is available exclusively for graduates of Level I and Level II Schools.  The Level III program is packed with interactive activities: round-table discussions, practice sessions, student-instructor interaction, and certification examinations. Students will receive a copy of the valuable Quality Control Technician/Inspector Level III Training Manual, TM-103, plus class notes and an extensive reference material. The manual and course content are designed for direct application in day-to-day operations, inspections and quality control.

You may register for the August Level III school by downloading and completing the online registration form.  The PCI member rate is $970.00; the non-member rate is $1,270.00.  Employees of government agencies are encouraged to attend at the special rate of $870.00.
