NOTE: Training manuals will be sent to your work address upon receipt of paid registration.

REQUIREMENTS:

Complete and return PCI Individual Certification Application Form and FPCA Registration Form. Call the FPCA Office at 239/454-6091.

Prerequisite for PCI Level I is ACI level I concrete field testing technician, Grade I certification.

Prerequisite for PCI Level II is PCI Level I certification.

Prerequisite for 450 Specification certification is PCI Level II certification.

The Florida Prestressed Concrete Association (FPCA) training class is designed to certify all personnel involved with prestressed concrete inspection.

FPCA Inspector Certification is fully approved by the Florida Department of Transportation and fulfills all FDOT course requirements.

The content of the training curriculum will be primarily derived from material contained in the FDOT Specification 450 and the PCI Quality Control Technician/Inspector Level I/II Training manual

Participants must pass each level of the three part curriculum before certificate is awarded.

Participants will be asked to leave the class and return for a re-test if Level I or II examination is not passed. Pro-rata refunds will be available to those who have to leave the class early due to failure of an exam.

Guy Padgett - Mr. Padgett is from the Gainesville FDOT office and is the Team Leader of the prestressed/precast inspection-in-depth team which regularly inspects prestressed concrete manufacturing facilities. He has been with the Department for 35 years.

Ghulam Mujtaba, P.E. - Mr. Mujtaba is a FDOT State Prestressed Concrete Engineer and is based in the State Materials Office in Gainesville. During the last twelve years of his career in Florida, he has been working with the FDOT, as District-two Concrete Engineer, Construction Project Manager, Concrete Materials Engineer, and State Prestressed Concrete Engineer.
